continuing education credit information

The Denver Psychoanalytic Society offers Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for most of its conferences, lectures, and continuing education programs. These programs are planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) through a joint providership with the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA).

In Colorado, programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) typically satisfy most mental health licensure CE requirements.

Participants are responsible for verifying their specific board's requirements and acceptance policies.

CME Credit Information for Denver Psychoanalytic Society Events

If CME credit is being offered for a program, the attendee must do the following to receive a certificate:

      • Pre-register
      • Pay in full
      • Sign the attendance sheet for in-person events OR list your last name in your screen name for virtual events
      • Attend the program
      • Complete an evaluation within 7 days after the program.

For in-person events, CME credit will be given for attending the session in its entirety. For virtual events, CME credit will be equal to the actual time participated, awarded in 15-minute increments. CME certificates will be sent by email within 2 to 4 weeks following the event after attendees are cross referenced by registration, payment, attendance, and completion of the evaluation.

Certificate Replacement Policy: If awarded a CME certificate, please retain for your records. There will be a $3 charge if the Society office must resend a certificate.
