Ethical Challenges in Child and Adolescent Therapy

How do we practice safely when facing ethical challenges in working with children and adolescents? This course will discuss ways to prevent impasses in responding to the following kinds of issues: working with parents while preserving the child's privacy, understanding our feelings and reactions to children and their parents, and problems in supervision or consultation. Students in this course will have the opportunity to explore and discuss these and other clinical dilemmas.
