Advancing Approaches in the Treatment of Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorders
    June 17-18, 2022 | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Time

The Curtis - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

We are excited to begin our 2022 Regional Conferences with an in-person Conference in Denver, CO USA featuring Dr. Colin Ross.

This event will be an in-person event and we do not plan to livestream or record this presentation at this time.

ISSTD is monitoring local, state and federal regulations regarding masking, vaccinations, and testing. We will provide final details of our COVID-19 policy approximately two weeks before the conference. ISSTD may require participants to wear face masks and provide proof of vaccines and/or negative test. We ask that everyone be respectful of the different beliefs of each person regarding these mitigation strategies and understand that each person has a different level of comfort at this time. Our primary goal is to keep everyone attending safe and healthy.

Dr. Colin Ross will be presenting his Trauma Model Therapy (TMT), a new, comprehensive treatment modality for complex PTSD and dissociative disorders.  This is a treatment protocol which serves as a model for a broad range of conditions, including depression; personality disorders; panic and related disorders such as OCD; eating disorders and somatic symptom disorders. Dr. Ross brings his over 30 years’ experience as a treating psychiatrist to this ISSTD Regional Conference. The second afternoon will be devoted to a Consultation Clinic where Dr.Ross will be joined by Peter Maves and Susan Hykes. Treatment and management will be discussed that are being encountered in attendees practice settings, with emphasis upon complex treatment problems and personality disorder components. Treatment strategies will be discussed including the transference circumstances that arise in treating this population. The resistance points and treatment impasses which are a frequent part of the treatment will be identified and suggestions will be shared.
