    LEARNING OBJECTIVES for Scientific Meeting:

    1. Participant will learn about the frequency and range of pornographic use on the internet.

    2. Participant will learn how to unpack pornographic images and work with them as screen memories.

    3. Participant will have greater facility talking to patients about their use of pornography as it relates to their gender, sexuality and underlying character issues.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES for Workshop:

    1. Participants will recognize the connection between unthinkable ideas, erotic transference and countertransference and foreclosure of options in a patient.

    2. Participants will appreciate the range of sexual expression and its psychological determinants over years of adult development in patient and analyst.

    3. Participants will learn how to work better with homoerotic transferences and their own countertransference.

    This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of American Psychoanalytic Association and the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center.
