Description: We will learn to meditate and short periods of meditation will be integrated into the group analysis of dreams. Each week, one person will volunteer to tell the group a recent dream and we will analyze it together. We will also discuss one chapter of the text each week. By the end of the course, participants will be able to start their own dream groups if they choose.
Bio: David Nichol, MD has been a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice since 1994. He participated in five group dream workshops with Jeremy Taylor. As a member of the Denver Psychoanalytic Society since 2007, he has taught medical students, psychiatric residents, and psychoanalytic candidates. He is the author of The One-Minute Meditator.
Book: Participants will read The Wisdom of your Dreams by Jeremy Taylor, 2009. Please purchase the text (available through Amazon) and read chapters 1& 6 before the first class.
Certificates of Attendance: Certificates of Attendance will be distributed upon completion of the course. No CME credits are provided.
Dates and Times: Classes will be held in-person (near I-25 & Speer Blvd.) on Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 PM (MDT) for 6 consecutive weeks, starting October 15, 2021, and running through November 19, 2021. The exact address will be emailed to registrants one week prior to the first class.
Registration: As this class will be held in a home, we are only accepting fully vaccinated registrants (Please see registration waiver below). Registration is required and limited to 6 participants. A waitlist will be available once the registration limit is reached. The deadline to register is October 12, 2021.

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds of fees for cancellations within 7 days of the first class; any refunds prior to October 8th will be less a $30.00 administration fee. DPS will follow CDC, state, and local guidelines for meeting in-person. If class needs to be cancelled, the fee will be prorated accordingly. If, after registering, you can no longer attend, please notify the DPS office at firstname.lastname@example.org.

COVID-19 Protocols: Registrants will be seated six feet apart and wear masks. Health and safety recommendations can change quickly, therefore, we will adjust as needed to follow CDC, state, and local guidelines for meeting in-person throughout the entirety of the class.
Confidentiality: During classes, we will follow rules of confidentiality for clinical case material including disguising identifying information. Please do not discuss any case material outside of this class. No recording of case material is allowed.
