American Association for Psychoanalytic Education (AAPE)

The ACPEinc accredits psychoanalytic education programs by assessing how well each psychoanalytic program or training program implements the Standards of Psychoanalytic Education in light of its distinctive theory and training tradition.

External accreditation of a program or training program provides parity with colleagues in other academic and health care disciplines. 

Accreditation Council for Psychoanalytic Education (ACPEinc)

AAPE standards for the education and training of psychoanalysts follow the requirements of the tripartite Eitingon model.

AAPE standards meet or exceed the requirements of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA).

American Psychoanalytic Association  

The Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis is 1 of 32 approved training institutes of the APsaA which requires a personal analysis; a didactic curriculum; and intensive supervised psychoanalytic clinical work.

APsaA is a membership organization.  which offers a broad range of benefits, from a quarterly magazine and members-only discussion forums to opportunities for networking with senior analysts and candidates.
